NOTICE OF INTENT TO ANNEX
Pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. § 5-3-300, et. seq., the qualified electors of the area described below voted in an election on July 26, 2016, to be annexed to the City of West Columbia. City Council intends to approve the annexation by ordinance 30 days hereafter unless a petition signed by 5% or more of the qualified electors within the City of West Columbia is presented to the City Council within 30 days from the date of publication of this notice requesting an election to be held within the City of West Columbia on the question of annexation of the following area:
All those certain pieces, tracts, parcels, or lots of land, with any improvements thereon, situate, lying and being in the County of Lexington, the State of South Carolina, and includes areas from Leaphart Road at Augusta Road westward toward Wattling Road at Augusta Road, and for this petition is generally known as the Highway One Corridor. The following is a general listing of streets addresses/parcels that will be affected:

Also included shall be all portions of any State or County street, road or rights-of-way which abut or adjoin the above-described properties.
