Recycling Day in West Columbia this Saturday, October 27, 2018, 8 AM – 12 PM
West Columbia, SC (October 23, 2018, at 9:50 AM) – The City of West Columbia’s Public Works, Police Department, and Fire Department will hold a joint recycling day at City Hall on Saturday, October 27, 2018, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The City will be collecting recyclable garbage items, prescription drugs, as part of the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, and documents that will be shredded with a shred truck on site.
The following items can be recycled: electronics, paint, batteries, tires, used oil, appliances, scrap metal, and aluminum cans.
All metal and aluminum items that can be recycled for this event will be donated to the South Carolina Burned Children’s Fund.
