We Want to Know What You Want in Your City

West Columbia, SC (Monday, May 15, 2017 at 2:45 PM) – The City of West Columbia has turned empty space on State Street into a call for ideas. Awaiting the new façade upgrade with matching funds from the City’s Façade Improvement Grant, the storefronts of the old Clark’s Beauty Shop have been temporarily transformed into a chalkboard for residents and visitors to add what they would like to see in West Columbia. The “Wall of Ideas” will stay up until the new storefronts are completed. The public is encouraged to come out, share ideas, take pictures, and upload them to social media using the hashtags #wcolasc and #artonstate.
