West Columbia Road Closures Beginning Sunday, October 9, 2022, for the Gervais Street Bridge Dinner
West Columbia, SC (October 7, 2022, 4:50 PM) – The Gervais Street Bridge will be closed to driver and pedestrian traffic beginning Sunday, October 9, 2022, at 6:30 AM, until Monday morning, October 10, 2022, at 12 AM, for the Gervais Street Bridge Dinner.
Traffic will be blocked on Sunset Blvd at State Street, on Meeting Street at State Street, and on Alexander Road at Oliver Street. State Street will remain open.
Please use alternate routes such as Jarvis Klapman Boulevard. Public parking options for the West Columbia Riverwalk Amphitheater and Park, and other public parks, shopping, and dining districts are listed below (see attached map):
- Carraway Park – 212 Hudson Street
- Free Public Parking Garage – 310 Court Avenue
- Capitol Square – 483 Sunset Boulevard
- Interactive Art Park – 425 Meeting Street
