The City of West Columbia Animal Services will hold its 2nd Annual Patriotic Pet Day to celebrate rescue animals and the positive impact they have on the community, Saturday, September 10, 2016, from 10 AM to 2 PM, at the West Columbia Riverwalk Park and Amphitheater, 109 Alexander Road, West Columbia, SC. Bring your pets to visit over fifteen vendors such as Pawmetto Lifeline, Safe Cats Coalition, and the South Carolina Canine Academy that will be onsite providing information and services. Entertainment will be provided by singer/songwriter Emma Kate. For a $1 donation to one of the charities at the event, hot dogs will be available, as well as face painting and hair wrapping. Make sure to visit each vendor to get a sticker on your passport card to be entered to win prizes.
