West Columbia Publishes Improved Website

By December 19, 2014Headlines

News Release

The City of West Columbia is pleased to announce the release of its new website on December 18, 2014. The improved design provides a user-friendly experience on both desktop computers and mobile devices. The website homepage provides quick access to important information such as contacting a city department or reading public safety announcements. “The most important feature is that all public safety notices scroll at the top of every page. This allows our citizens and water customers to have up-to-date information at their fingertips,” said Anna Huffman, West Columbia IT Systems Administrator. The ADA compliant website incorporates security standards in its design. Customers can use the website to pay water bills and sign up for e-billing. “People can use the website to notify the city of code concerns or find a link to West Columbia’s social media links. Want to know what’s happening around the city? It’s easy to find information any time of day or night on our website,” said Ms. Huffman. The city’s website is www.westcolumbiasc.gov.

Questions about the website can be directed to Anna Huffman, IT Systems Administrator, at 803-791-1880 or ahuffman@westcolumbiasc.gov.
